Why a great workout can be as simple as jumping on the elliptical, skipping rope, or walking on the treadmill. It’s not just for people who are trying to lose weight, but can be done by anyone, and it’s a great way to get fit.
I know, I know, it’s not a lot of exercise, but you definitely need to be fit if you want to lose weight. You need to be able to do a workout that will not only leave you feeling fit, but will also give you the cardio and strength you need to be able to burn off excess fat. Even a little bit of yoga or Pilates can go a long way.
There’s a ton of fitness apps out there that will help you get fit. But they all have their own way of doing it. Some, like the one I downloaded, are very similar; others, like the one I’ll be working with here, are different. With some, you have to do a ton of walking. Some, like the one I’ll be working with here, are set up to be done seated. I’d recommend using a computer or tablet if you can.
That said, I’m not a huge fan of the idea of working out at the gym. I’m not saying that you should never go to the gym. Just don’t go to the gym that requires you to walk as much as a lot of the other fitness apps. Also, some of the apps I recommend would be better suited to an office environment.
The key is to make sure you have a place to exercise when you are at the gym. If you have a nice lounge area or a group spot, that is great. If not, then I would suggest using an app to get in your cardio workout. These apps usually have some sort of timer that you can use to get your heart rate up to match your intensity. These are great options for people looking to workout at home.
This is a common refrain I hear from people that are trying to start exercising at home. “I’m so tired of sitting all day,” is a common phrase that some people use, but you can’t really exercise if you are sitting all day.
I feel this way myself. Especially if you are trying to lose weight. I understand why people say that. I love the idea of getting up, getting out of the house, and getting some cardio in. But at the same time, I also understand that just because you do not have to sit all day, it wont make it easier or better. So I do not recommend using these apps to get your heart rate up. If you can use a real gym, you can do it yourself.
I personally think that if you are going to get up, get out of the house, and get some cardio then you are in a much better place to be, than if you are sitting all day. I think I am in the same situation and most things just happen if you are too much and don’t spend all day around it.
I think that if you could figure out what is making you feel bad then you can figure out what to do to fix it. So if you are just feeling cranky all the time, make it a priority to get out of the house, eat something, and get up and move around.
The only thing that makes you feel cranky is you are getting too close to the gym. While it is true that if you are in the gym for 15 minutes you will feel cranky, if you are outside for less than 15 minutes you will feel cranky. While you might be able to do some of the above, your body will feel cranky because you will be in the gym for so long.
